Solivakasama Worldwide Movement for Democracy in Fiji
The Writting is on the Wall,Dictator is about to Fall.
The people of Fiji have been denied their basic human rights including the right to self-determination. Their cry for justice has fallen largely on deaf ears.

Strange Happenings

Wildly speculative rumours and the floating of bizarre stories is only to be expected under the degree of censorship Fiji is currently experiencing.

Accordingly, we find the latest reports on Fiji freedom blog, Coup Four And A Half, to be both interesting and entertaining. We are especially interested in the reports of Renee Lal’s arrest. The shady lawyer has a track record with dodgy developments and we wouldn’t be at all surprised if her reported “intimate”‘ relationship with that corrupt sleazebag, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum, turns out to be true.
But how come Pita Driti’s close mate, Ben Padarath, is being held in “immigration custody”? We thought Padarath was a Fiji citizen. Or is there something we don’t yet know, such as a linkage with some other news on people being locked up, as reported in the Fiji Times (see link below)? Folks, these are strange happenings that may not be unrelated.

A lot of people have been unhappy with the way lease money has been distributed in the past, with cuts going to chiefs and the NLTB, but the Bainimarama changes which he made without any consultation could easily backfire.

The puppet Qetaki has declared that the money will go to “every living member of any clan”. Is that right? Every living member on the VKB? Does he know where to find them? People overseas? In the British army?

Can he guarantee that he’ll find everybody and be able to demonstrate that all of the money has been distributed? At least when money went to chiefs, the community knew where to look for contributions to community projects.
